Photos 9: Rhythm

Photo 1: This one is easily my favorite. The fish create lines of rhythm throughout the image in a grid like fashion. The fake water cuts an additional diagonal throughout the frame. Lets your eyes dance around.

This is a strong vertical motif created by the trees. There are some random diagonals up top as well that create a subtle grid pattern up top. The little girl adds to the vertical motif. This photo is a little bit busy for my taste, and for that reason doesn't feel as strong as the one up top.

Awe... This is my son and my nephew. Marshal creates a horizontal rhythmic beat right in the center of the frame, that forms a cross with the vertical beat created by Chase. But Chase's arms help to continue the horizontal line created by Marshal so that the cross feel a little more complete. Once again, this image is a little bit busy. But it still reads somewhat clearly because of Marshal's color and the stark lines on Chase's blanket.
